Mutakami — Travel Connected

Your trip.
Your data estimate.

Start with how you use your phone, then check a package’s allowance and validity separately.

A personal estimate

Plan around your usage.

Enter your own daily mobile-data estimate. This tool does not read your phone, track you or predict consumption.

How to find your usage

Add your daily estimate to calculate a total. The suggested extra allowance is editable.

Start with your phone.
Not a universal “GB per trip”.

Choose a recent period that resembles how you expect to travel. Divide its mobile-data total by the number of days. Adjust for anything different on this trip: downloads, video, navigation, cloud backups or work calls. Wi-Fi usage is separate.

On iPhone

Open Settings → Cellular or Mobile Data to review app usage. Check what period the statistics cover before dividing; it may not match a billing month.

On Google Pixel

Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → App data usage. Select a period and review the apps using mobile data. Menus on other Android phones can differ.

Check the provider’s meter

Your phone’s count and the provider’s count may differ. Use the package’s own remaining-data information when deciding whether you need more data.

Fixed data and daily data
answer different questions.

Example allowances — explanations, not offers
Package typeWhat to compareDo not assume
5 GB totalA shared 5 GB allowance within the stated validity. That the allowance resets daily.
1 GB high-speed/dayEach day’s high-speed allowance, exact duration and fair-use terms. That unused daily data rolls over, or that the reset follows your phone’s time zone.
Unlimited with fair useThe high-speed quota and what happens after it is reached.Unlimited high-speed data or a guaranteed post-limit speed.

A total-data estimate can help compare fixed plans. For a daily plan, check your busiest day too. We do not combine the two into a misleading single price-per-GB ranking.
