A plain-language guide to where our eSIM facts come from, what we calculate and what you should still check before buying.
Our destination pages explain the eSIM plans available through Mutakami. They are shopping guides, not a league table of every provider, and we do not pretend to have personally tested every network in every destination.
01 · What comes from the catalog
Plan details we can show.
Data allowance, price, duration, plan type and listed network names come from Mutakami’s storefront catalog. Those are the details we use on destination pages.
The catalog copy used by these guides was captured at . The live shop checks current availability and price again before purchase.
02 · What we calculate
Simple comparisons, explained.
Trip-length examples only check whether a plan’s listed validity covers the dates. They do not shorten a plan or predict how much data you will use.
When we show a fixed-data price per GB, it is just the package price divided by its total GB. It is not a speed, coverage or quality score.
03 · What we check separately
Helpful sources, kept in context.
Device and travel notes link to sources such as manufacturers, regulators, airports or official tourism organizations. A note about a place or phone is not a promise that a particular network will work everywhere.
Some explanatory copy may be drafted with AI assistance and then reviewed against the catalog and cited sources. It does not create a customer rating, endorsement or field-test claim.
04 · What we do not guess
Missing details stay missing.
If the catalog does not state a package’s activation rule, APN, hotspot support or top-up options, we do not copy an answer from another package or infer one from the destination.
Check the exact plan details in the live shop before paying. Offers can change, and an older guide should never override the current checkout.
Spot something that looks wrong?
Tell Mutakami support which page and public plan detail needs checking. We can compare it with the current catalog.
